Ungated proposal preview

ThirdEye for BSS and charging

For product owners, charging engineering, QA and release approvers investigating gaps between offer intent and implemented behaviour. These are illustrative proposed workflows, not delivered customer case studies.

What the proposal covers

The fourteen content slides introduce the workspace, five workflows, a conceptual add-on journey, the application/inference boundary, required employee controls, a focused pilot, evaluation and operating responsibilities. The download adds a licence page. Edition v1.1, September 2026, 15 pages including the licence page. It describes proposed workflows and is not a claim of a completed customer engagement.

Offer requirements and delivery traceability

Map offer rules to current design, configuration and executed tests. Require source/version links and mark inferred or missing relationships unresolved. Measure review time and expert-confirmed mapping gaps.

Charging configuration review

Explain consumption order, validity and overlapping allowances from approved exports. Compare rules with the offer specification and prepare candidate findings, not production corrections. Measure review effort and confirmed defects.

Charging tests and regression analysis

Draft lifecycle and boundary scenarios with deterministic expected results. Group failed assertions against frozen requirements; correlation with a change is a hypothesis until replayed. Measure accepted coverage and preparation time including corrections.

Charge and balance discrepancy investigation

Align usage, balance history and tariff versions at event time. Check eligibility, expiry and duplicate/delayed records. Separate potential exposure from approved recovery; measure evidenced findings and investigation effort.

High- and low-level design explanation

Build an evidence-backed account of functions and interfaces. Mark unknown dependencies and proposed changes for architect review. Measure explanation accuracy and reviewer effort, not just answer speed.

One offer family, one charging domain

Bring the approved offer specification, versioned design, read-only configuration export, anonymised usage/billing fixtures and test results. Freeze the source versions and expert answers before comparing manual work with assisted work on the same cohort.

Measure median and p90 task time including review/corrections, citation validity, accepted findings, false positives and critical defects missed. Proposed acceptance: every monetary assertion independently reconciles, critical evidence is traceable and permission tests pass. Stop on access leakage, unsupported tariff advice or out-of-scope actions. Agree the actual thresholds and reviewer before access.

Employees approve release decisions, credits, rerating and any system change. The initial scope is read-only evidence assembly. Any later tool access requires separately tested permissions, explicit approval and an agreed reversal path.

Private application does not mean private model hosting

Managed inference processes prompts outside the application VPC, even via private connectivity. Approve the model region, retention and processors. Self-hosted VPC inference and genuinely disconnected operation are separate designs; neither is implied by the managed option. Security controls are requirements to verify, not universal deployed assurances.

Next step: assess one offer family

Assign a charging expert and product owner, prepare sanitised fixtures and agree evidence access. Akima scopes implementation and operating responsibilities with you; cloud consumption and service levels are agreed separately. Savings estimates follow measured results, not a promised percentage.
